Purchase after distinguishing between toys and other goods. Items like toy straps are difficult to categorize. Even if you trust them as toys, many items are sold as general merchandise, so caution is needed to ensure they are not put in the mouth.

In Japan, food hygiene tests primarily examine materials, and there are no mandatory standards for toys. It is advisable to choose items with safety marks that have cleared shape and heat resistance tests, such as the ST mark and CE mark.
